Self-funded Residencies

Coreset is a vibrant, collaborative cultural space with accessible studios, workshops, kitchen and an apartment. We believe art has the power to bring us together, to imagine new futures and generate change. We aim to intensify creativity and multiply opportunity.
Open Call
Studio/Workspace Residencies at Coreset.
We welcome applications from Newark residents, disabled, D/Deaf, neurodivergent, Global Ethnic Majority, working-class and under-class artists and arts workers, or those facing intersecting cultural or social barriers.
The three studio's are:

Available from December 2024 to 30 June 2025

On the ground floor of our accessible building with parking and gender neutral disabled toilets. Note: we do not have a hoist and the doors are not automatic.

Applications should include the following:

A completed Application Form. We are open to alternative means of application / application submission, e.g., in the body of an email, presented as a recorded video or audio description. Applicants wishing to apply via an alternative means must still respond to the application criteria.

Up to 3 images (submitted in .jpeg format, max 2MB each) or website links, particularly where these demonstrate work completed in the last two years.

A completed Equal Opportunities Monitoring form.
