“The purest form of listening is without memory or desire.”
As part of our UNSPOKEN exhibition programme, this session invites you to slow down and really listen—to yourself and to others.
The exhibition brings together images of the Meadows in Nottingham from 1989 to today, combined with sound. It explores how our past experiences shape who we are now and influence our future. Through this mix of sound and visuals, you’re encouraged to pause, reflect, and think about your own memories, identity, and connection to the world.
During the reflective listening session, you’ll h ave the chance to:
Explore how you listen and respond to your surroundings
Reflect on your own thoughts, feelings, and experiences
Share your perspectives in a supportive and open environment
Feel heard and understood by others
Coreset resident Psychotherapist Dawn Wray will guide conversations, helping you think about your personal experiences and how they connect to wider changes in the world.
This is a space for quiet reflection, meaningful conversation, and deeper listening. Reserve your spot on Eventbrite here.
