The photographic exhibition Forming Threads, supported by The British Council, is rooted in the lives of rural communities as it reveals the skills and traditional practices of Miao makers in Xuzhou & Guizhou, China. This exhibition is the result of UK-China research and cross-cultural collaboration which is enabling us to begin to think about different ways to minimise the environmental footprint of production and consumption. We opening on Sunday 1 June from 10am until 1pm, by popular demand. It's free to enter. If you missed any of the skills workshops that took place during Forming Threads - natural dyeing, sewing and embroidery and are interested to take part if we are able to programme more in the future please email us at info@coreset.org.
