Join Polly Lancaster, Associate Lecturer and Technical Support at the University of Lincoln, to make a portable pouch (purse).

Inspired by the history of the ancient Miao people Polly will guide you as you make purse. Inspired by Forming Threads our exhibition about the Miao you will make a pomegranate-style pouch. To the Miao peoples, pomegranates symbolise fertility, good fortune and the 56 ethnic groups of China holding together.

You will be provided with materials and there will be refreshments as well as a short break at half time.
