Past workshop: Embroidery 17 May

Join resident artist Kay Davis for an embroidery workshop inspired by our latest exhibition, Forming Threads. Kay will share techniques and patterns with you reflective of those used by the Miao, an ethnic minority group living in deep mountains of the most remote areas in Southwest China. In the past the Miao had no written language, so they used textile patterns to record their history for over 2000 years. £5, materials and refreshments provided. Book via eventbrite at this link here.
