Our taster sessions are free or low cost. They are ideal ways to have a go. Anyone receiving UC, JSA, PIP or DLA please email info@coreset.org to reserve places on taster sessions.

Past event - Eco Printing, 16 August
Eco printing is the magical process of transferring the colours and shapes that naturally occur in fresh plants, leaves and flowers, directly onto fabric or paper to create truly spectacular marks and prints.

Past event - Boro Repair workshop, 5 July
Boro was used out of necessity in Japan to prolong the life of clothes and bedding due to poverty and the scarcity of textiles. They are now highly prized in Japan. Your tutor is Kay Davis, Coreset resident textile artist and costume maker, who takes her inspiration from Japanese textiles disciplines including sashimi, boro and shibori.
